1.      Introduction

This privacy notice provides information on how We (as defined below) will collect and process your personal data when you choose to participate in The Uncertain Kingdom.

Please read this privacy notice together with our website privacy policy, which contains more detailed information about our data processing practices and can be accessed here.

For the purposes of administering and managing The Uncertain Kingdom, We will comply with (i) the Data Protection Act 2018 (“DPA”); (ii) the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”), including any UK implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation, as amended from time to time; and (iii) any successor legislation to the GDPR or the DPA.

2.      Who we are

We are ’19 By Twenty C.I.C (“We” or “Us”). Our registered office is located at Suite 10-12, Mezzanine Floor, Royal Liver Building, Pier Head, Liverpool, L3 1HL. We are a Community Interest Company registered in England with company number 11717820. 3.      Data we collect about you in connection with The Uncertain Kingdom

We may collect, use, store and transfer the following data as part of the application process:

  • The Applicant’s name

  • The Applicant’s email address

  • The Applicant’s phone number

  • Information relating to the Applicant’s submitted project

We may also obtain information about you from other publicly available sources and databases.

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, and by submitting an application to us, you confirm that we have your consent to process your personal data in order to enable us to consider your application.

4.      How we use and share your data

The data we collect about you will be kept confidential and will be used by Us for the purpose of assessing applications. We may also share your data with our partners in certain circumstances. Please see clauses 10 and 13 of our General Conditions for more information on who our partners are and when and why we may share your personal data with them.. We may retain application data, including that relating to unsuccessful applications, for a period of up to six years after the date on which an application is accepted or rejected, in line with the requirements of the Limitation Act 1980. Once this time period has elapsed, we will delete it. Shortlisted projects will be publicised as per clause 11 of our General Conditions.

5.      International transfers

We may transfer, store and process your personal data outside the UK. More detail can be found here. In instances where we transfer your data outside the United Kingdom, we would only do so where there is a lawful basis for such a cross-border transfer, such as an adequacy decision issued by the ICO for the receiving country, or standard contractual clauses in place between us and the receiving entity. 

6.      Your legal rights

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data including the right to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and the right to make a complaint at any time to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). You have the right to rectify incorrect personal data. You also have the right at any time to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data but note that in the event of you exercising this right to withdraw your consent, we would then not be able to process your application and would accordingly treat your application as having been withdrawn.
