Isabel Freer

development executive

Isabel is head of development at Electric Shadow Company, where she oversees their slate of film TV and documentary projects. Most recently she exec produced Ed Lovelace’s critically acclaimed documentary Name Me Lawand. Isabel is also producing writer/director Isabella Wing-Davey's debut feature. Prior to this Isabel worked as a freelance development producer on a number of films including Love Wedding Repeat, Churchill, The Journey and the Teddy Pendergrass documentary If You Don’t Know Me. She worked in Los Angeles for seven years as a production and development executive; her credits during this time include Manchester by the Sea, The Adjustment Bureau and Gus Van Sant's Promised Land. Isabel also co-produced the Howard Zinn documentary The People Speak

 
 
 

Georgia Goggin

development executive

Georgia is a writer, director and producer. As a producer, Georgia works most often with writer/director Dionne Edwards. Their debut feature Pretty Red Dress was supported by BFI, BBC Film and The Sundance Institute and was released in UK cinemas in June 2023 to rave reviews. Georgia’s writing and directing credits include Bend which was funded by BBC Drama and screened at festivals including Encounters, London Short Film Festival and Underwire, where she was nominated for Best Director. She is currently writing a feature for The Electric Shadow Company and has created a TV series for The Development Partnership. Georgia is an Academy Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist and an alum of Sundance, EIFF and Rotterdam talent development programmes.

 
 
 

Myah Jeffers

development executive

Myah is a Barbadian-British writer, director, photographer and dramaturg. As the previous Literary Associate at the Royal Court Theatre, she was responsible for shaping the works of new and established playwrights. She most recently directed six short plays by Trinidadian, Barbadian and Jamaican writers at the Edna Manley School of Drama in Jamaica. Additional theatre credits include Queer Upstairs and Living Newspaper both at The Royal Court and The Young Vic’s Twenty Thrive. Myah's photographic work has won the Portrait of Britain Prize twice. She is a recipient of the inaugural Leica & WePresent’s Photography Grant for Black photographers. Her photographs can be found in Vogue, The Guardian, The Sunday Times Magazine, ELLE and The Independent amongst others. She has also worked in collaboration with the likes of Tate, Somerset House, ICA, South London Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery. Myah recently wrapped her debut short Bathsheba produced by Two Birds Entertainment (County Lines) and supported by WePresent and Intermission.

 
 
 

John Jencks

John has been working in the film industry for over 15 years as a writer, director and producer. His short film Go Away, Please! (2009) won the Shooting People prize at London Short Film Festival. John's debut feature, The Fold, starred Catherine McCormack and got its cinematic release in 2013. John's most recent film The Hippopotamus, based on a novel by Stephen Fry, was released in summer 2017. His recent producing credits include The Trust (starring Nicholas Cage), Out of Blue (dir. Carol Morley), Guns Akimbo (starring Daniel Radcliffe) and the upcoming reboot of The Crow.
